I told people I'd be specializing in publishing posts about topics associated with animation, comics and theatre. Luckily, I know about someone who fits those aforementioned bills--Andrea Romano (a winner of 8 Emmys). This lauded woman had a staggering animation casting/voice-directing career. Andrea partook in a sizable amount of comic book media. Romano directed and/or cast a conglomeration of divine board treaders, too.
If you can't tell from the previous paragraph, I think quite highly of Andrea. I think of myself as a gargantuan fan. In my mind, she's a totally miraculous person. In the following paragraphs, I shall tell you why I'm such an admirer.
I have a soft-spot for Andrea Romano because she had a 51/2 year tenure at Hanna-Barbera. Andrea's synonymous with loads of Hanna-Barbera material that I find totally rapturous. For instance, the Scooby-Doo material she cast receives the Greg-Seal-of-Approval. Incidentally, I applaud Romano and Gordon Hunt (the meritable on staff recording-director) for not being ageist. Both of 'em allowed thoroughly sterling people opportunities to revisit their corresponding roles.
In regards to Andrea's freelance career, she's accumulated my props for being a hardcore risktaker. I find it flabbergasting how Andrea partook in amount of projects that were so varied! Romano ran the gamut. It's gobsmacking how she'd partake in a multitude of overlapping projects, too. During the freelance section of her career, she had a habit of partaking in shows/movies that tickled my fancy.
On multiple occasions, Andrea hammered the nail on the casting head. She's influenced me gigantically when I put together dreamcasts. Whether the recording situation was long-distance, individual or ensemble, she'd be guiding sensational people in crafting noteworthy character interpretations. Andrea's quite an actress, too. She turned-in some savvy voice-acting. I found it to be major ball when she popped-up in her projects.
It's so beguiling how Andrea cast and/or directed a colossal amount of peachy people. She recruited and guided a number of people I hold in high regard. I'm a fan of numerous people because of Andrea-affiliated content. It's admirable how Romano cast a balanced array of righteous voice-over artists and people with onscreen/stage notoriety. Its wondrous how Andrea rounded-up/dispensed direction to people of varying accomplishments, ages, backgrounds and nationalities, too.
I've concluded that Andrea Romano is the favourite director of yours truly. Andrea set a goal that resulted in a plethora of female DCAU fans. Three cheers to Romano for finding a stimulative niche. This gal has an abundance of immensely sage voice-over career jumpstarting advice. I'd be elated if I met Andrea! She seems to be an absolute peach in real life. Andrea Romano was certainly deserving of a single-card billing.
